InteractABILITY is a technology company with a social mission – founded in Melbourne, dedicated to building assistive technology that actually works for the people who need it most.
InteractABILITY emerged from a simple observation: the technology industry was consistently failing disabled and neurodivergent Australians. Mainstream platforms treat accessibility as an afterthought – a checkbox, not a foundation.
We set out to change that. Not as a charity with a technology component, but as a technology company with a social mission – one that starts from the lived experience of people with disabilities and engineers precisely for their needs.
The result is Harmony – Australia's most specialised assistive technology computer, purpose-built for neurodivergent individuals and people living with disability. It's already in homes across Australia. It works.
Unlike mainstream technology companies that bolt accessibility features onto existing products, we start from the lived experience of people with disabilities. We understand the niche, and we engineer precisely for it.
Built with people, not just consulting them. Every feature decision is validated against the real needs of our users – not assumed from the outside.
Privacy is a default, not a setting. We design systems that protect our users – especially those most vulnerable to digital harm.
Specialised technology for specific needs. We don't adapt general-purpose products – we build from scratch for the people who need it most.
Products over consultancy. We ship things that work. No lengthy onboarding, no complicated setup – technology that's ready when you are.
Every product we build creates real impact in the community. We exist to improve the lives of disabled and neurodivergent Australians.
Empowering user autonomy – not creating dependency. Our goal is to give people the tools to live more independently and confidently.
InteractABILITY operates across two channels – enterprise technology development and individual consumer delivery.
